Shipping & Delivery

Shipping & Delivery
Delivery Matters More Than You Think
One bent panel, one scratched stack, or one delayed load can stall an entire job. That's why how your metal gets to you is just as important as how it's made.

How Allsteel Delivers Metal Differently
Allsteel makes the metal you buy. That means delivery and pickup work differently here than with most suppliers. Panels are formed and trim is bent specifically for your order each day. Because we control production, we prepare materials faster, more accurately, and with less handling than suppliers that rely on crating and receiving shipments from outside their facility for metal orders.

Pickup From Our Facilities
Most orders are picked up directly from one of our manufacturing locations. Because many panels are formed specifically for your order, we recommend scheduling pick-up so your materials are ready when you need them.

Job Site Delivery
Allsteel offers delivery to job sites when needed. Delivery availability depends on distance, order size, and scheduling. For many projects, our Standing Seam and Board & Batten panels are formed directly on site. This eliminates extra handling, reduces the risk of freight damage, and removes unnecessary transportation between facilities and carriers.

What This Means For Your Project
  • Shorter wait times
  • Panels cut to exact lengths
  • Trim bent to your specifications
  • Less handling and fewer opportunities for freight damage
  • Materials ready when your project is ready
  • Standing Seam and Board & Batten panels can be formed directly on your jobsite

Our Approach to Shipping
Because Allsteel manufactures the metal we sell, our goal is to always get materials to you in the most efficient and safest way possible. In many cases, that means pickup from one of our facilities or delivery with our own fleet. While we can arrange third-party freight when distance requires it, long-distance shipping is not always the best option for metal panels and trim. Extra handeling, crating, and transfers increase the risk of damage and add unnecessary cost to your project. Every panel leaves our facility clean and in perfect condition. If third-party freight is required we properly stack and protect your order, but once it leaves our hands, handling is no longer something we can control. That's why, whenever possible, we prefer delivery directly from our machines to your jobsite.

Over Thousands of Deliveries...
We've learned that how metal is shipped can matter just as much as how it's made.

When Third-Party Freight Is Required
We will always help you get material anywhere in the country. However, long-distance freight is not always ideal for metal panels and trim. More handling means more opportunity for damage and more cost added to your project. If your project is outside our primary delivery range, our team will help you determine the most practical and cost-effective way to get your materials where they need to be.
