Terms & Conditions
TERMS & CONDITIONS

At Allsteel, we believe in doing business the right way — with clear communication, upfront expectations, and no surprises. The following Terms & Conditions are provided so our customers and contractor partners understand exactly how we manufacture, process, and deliver each order, along with our payment policies, product standards, and industry tolerances. Our goal is to be fully transparent from the start so every project runs smoothly from order to delivery.

1. Orders & Production

Allsteel manufactures metal panel systems and accessories specifically to each order based on customer-approved order details. Orders that are cut to length, custom-formed, color-specific, or special order are non-cancelable and non-returnable once released into production. Customer approval of an order, materials list, or invoice constitutes authorization for production. Any changes requested after an order has been released into production may not be possible and may result in additional charges for materials already produced, as well as revised lead times.

2. Material List & Quantities

The customer or contractor is responsible for providing accurate measurements, material lists, and order quantities for each project. Allsteel manufactures materials solely based on the information provided and approved by the customer or contractor. Allsteel is not responsible for shortages, overages, layout errors, or incorrect quantities resulting from customer- or contractor-provided information. Allsteel does not verify field measurements or project layouts. Any takeoffs, estimates, or quotes prepared by Allsteel from drawings, plans, or customer-provided information are for quoting purposes only and are not guaranteed for accuracy or completeness. Final quantities, measurements, and layout remain the responsibility of the customer or contractor.

3. On-Site Rollforming & Custom Slit Coils

On-site rollforming projects and custom slit coil orders require advance planning and material preparation. A complete and approved materials list is required prior to production so Allsteel can properly slit coils, allocate materials, and schedule equipment and labor. Projects requiring custom slit coils or on-site rollforming require a signed agreement and a minimum 50% deposit non-refundable prior to scheduling, material preparation, or production. Once coils are slit, allocated, or prepared for a specific project, the order is considered custom production and is non-cancelable and non-returnable.

4. Color, Finish & Manufacturing Tolerances

Allsteel is committed to providing high-quality metal panel systems manufactured to strict standards using approved coil and coating systems. All panels are produced using Allsteel-approved colors, coatings, and product codes to ensure consistency and quality across each order. Steel mills produce and coat large master coils in production runs at the mill level. While Allsteel maintains strict quality standards, slight variations in color tone or sheen may occur between these mill production runs or at different viewing angles. These variations are normal within industry standards and do not indicate a product defect. Panels produced from Grade 50 steel may result in minor variation in effective coverage, up to 1/4" per panel, depending on panel profile and forming characteristics. Minor variations in panel geometry, profile shape, gloss, and finish appearance are inherent to the metal forming process and are not considered defects.

5. Delivery, Pickup & Acceptance

Allsteel will manufacture and release materials in accordance with the approved order.

Materials must be inspected at the time of pickup or delivery. Any shortages, damage, or discrepancies must be noted immediately at the time of receipt. Once materials are picked up or delivered and accepted, the order is considered complete and correct, and responsibility transfers to the customer or contractor. For orders shipped by third-party freight carriers, Allsteel works to vet and utilize reputable, highly rated carriers. However, once materials leave an Allsteel facility in good condition, Allsteel is not responsible for damage, delay, theft, or loss in transit.

6. Payment Terms & Credit

Payment is due in accordance with the terms stated on the invoice or order agreement. Orders may require payment in full or a deposit prior to production, depending on the nature of the order. Allsteel may extend credit terms to approved customers only. Credit accounts are subject to approval, assigned credit limits, and payment terms established by Allsteel. Allsteel reserves the right to modify, suspend, or revoke credit privileges at any time based on payment history, account balance, or other risk factors. If a customer does not have an approved credit account, payment is required in full prior to order release or pickup/delivery. Past-due balances may be subject to interest charges, late fees, and collection costs as permitted by law. The customer agrees to pay all reasonable collection costs and attorney fees incurred in the event of non-payment.

7. Check Payments & Stop Payments

Payment by check constitutes authorization for Allsteel to deposit and process the payment for the full amount of the order. Stopping payment on any check after materials are produced, picked up, or delivered and accepted constitutes non-payment and may be subject to civil and/or criminal action under Arkansas law. Any check returned for insufficient funds, stop payment, or other reasons may be subject to returned check fees, collection costs, and administrative charges as permitted by law. The customer agrees to make payment in full upon demand and to pay all reasonable collection costs and attorney fees incurred as a result of non-payment.

7A. Check Acceptance Policy

Allsteel accepts check payments in accordance with the following requirements:

  • A valid government-issued photo ID (driver’s license or state ID) is required at the time of payment.

  • The name on the ID must match the name on the check or be an authorized signer for the account.

  • Allsteel reserves the right to record identification information, including driver’s license number, name, and contact information, for verification and collection purposes.

  • Business or contractor checks must be drawn from an established business account and signed by an authorized representative.

Allsteel reserves the right to refuse or limit acceptance of checks, require alternative forms of payment, or require prepayment based on order size, customer history, or risk factors.

8. Credit Card Payments & Chargebacks

By paying with a credit card, the customer acknowledges and agrees that payment is authorized for the full amount of materials, services, applicable taxes, and fees associated with the order. A 3% surcharge applies to all credit card payments. No additional fees are charged for payments made by debit card, cash, check, or ACH. Orders that are cut to length, custom-formed, color-specific, or special order are non-cancelable and non-returnable once released into production. Once materials are produced, picked up, or delivered and accepted, the transaction is considered complete and final. The customer agrees not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute for materials that were produced as ordered and accepted. Any billing questions or concerns must be reported directly to Allsteel within five (5) business days of pickup or delivery so they can be addressed promptly. Improper chargebacks or disputes constitute non-payment. Allsteel reserves the right to recover the full balance due, chargeback fees, administrative costs, collection costs, and reasonable attorney fees as permitted by law.

9. Warranty

Allsteel manufactures and supplies metal panel systems produced from coated steel products manufactured by third-party coating manufacturers, including SMP, PVDF/Kynar®, and Tru-Steel HD® digital print finish systems. Applicable finish warranties are provided directly by the coating manufacturers and are passed through to the customer in accordance with the manufacturer’s published warranty terms and limitations. Allsteel warrants that products supplied will be manufactured to standard industry tolerances and specifications. Variations that fall within those tolerances — including color, gloss, finish appearance, digital print pattern, and panel geometry — are not considered defects. Digital print and woodgrain finishes are produced using advanced imaging and coating processes and may exhibit natural variation in pattern, tone, grain direction, or repeat, which are inherent to the product and not considered defects. Finish warranties typically cover chalking, fading, and film integrity within defined limits and time periods as specified by the coating manufacturer. Allsteel does not provide any additional warranties beyond those expressly provided by the coating manufacturer. All implied warranties, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed to the extent permitted by law. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing and may require supporting documentation and inspection in accordance with the coating manufacturer’s claim process.

10. Governing Law & Venue

Allsteel, Inc. operates manufacturing facilities in the States of Arkansas and Missouri. For purposes of all transactions, orders, and agreements with Allsteel, Inc., such transactions are deemed to occur in the State of Arkansas. Any disputes, claims, or collection actions arising from this transaction shall be governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, and venue shall lie exclusively in the courts of Fulton County, Arkansas.

11. Default & Collections

Failure to make payment when due or failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions constitutes default.

In the event of default, Allsteel reserves the right to suspend production, withhold delivery or release for pickup, cancel pending orders, and/or revoke credit privileges until the account is brought current.

Allsteel reserves the right to pursue all available remedies, including but not limited to collection action, lien rights, legal action, and recovery of all amounts due.

The customer agrees to pay all reasonable collection costs, administrative fees, court costs, and attorney fees incurred by Allsteel in the enforcement of these Terms and Conditions, to the extent permitted by law.
