Steel Purlin

Allsteel sells steel purlin.  In metal buildings, the purlin usually refers to roof beams that span parallel to the building eave, supporting the roof decking or sheeting. Rafters or walls support the purlins.  Purlins are often incorporated into metal buildings where Z-shapes are used to allow flexural continuity between spans.
